Meet Shelley

Shelley serves as a SLP with KPI Therapy, supporting clients through compassionate, individualized care. In this role, they focus on building trust, creating stability, and helping each person work toward their personal goals.

In Their Own Words

“Hi! I'm Shelley Mickey, and I've been an SLP for 14 years. I'm passionate about helping people communicate freely and confidently. At KPI, I've been able to make a difference for many special families and work with caring professionals.

My interest in speech pathology stemmed from my desire to help others and my passion for medicine. I started in early intervention at a pediatric clinic and have always loved working with young children just beginning to communicate. Ilove early intervention because it positively impacts the whole family. As an SLP, get to meet new people, work with families and teachers, and help caregivers build skills and connect with their children. Supporting families fits perfectly with KPl's mission and my own goals. I'm so happy to keep helping others find and use their voice!”
